The boys birthday was the only anticipated birthday during my hospital stay. Eric was going to have to learn how to share the month of April. Being stuck in the hospital and not having eaten at a real table for over a week got me thinking it would be nice just to sit at a table let alone eat anything besides hospital food. Thankfully the nursing staff and Jeff Gschwind were there to help! I called an order into Bryant and Cooper for Eric's favorite tuna steak and Jeff brought all the needed supplies from home. He also picked out a delicious cake. The nurses gave us access to a conference room and a white bed sheet. It was almost like white glove service!
