After being in the hospital for over 2 weeks we were excited the day had arrived to meet our boys! I was set to deliver at 4:30pm via c-section as I had been told by all the wonderful staff at North Shore University Hospital. So at 6:30am when the nurse from the OR arrived to take me to prep I was a bit surprised. How long does it take to prep for surgery?! Turns out my surgery was set for 8:30am. I immediately called Eric who was home in Glen Cove fast asleep. He was obviously a bit startled and jumped to get to the hospital fast as can be. I also called Nana and Papa who were set to drive down to the hospital later that day. Thankfully Eric made it to the hospital by 8am. After a little bit of prep the boys were delivered around 9am in all their perfection. We were extremely relieved to hear how healthy they were. They were born at 34 weeks and 3 days old.

Eric made it to the hospital in time to help me prep

Our first look at Greyson! We didn't get to see Cole until we went to the NICU later that day. Eric went while I was in recovery and I forced myself to stay awake to visit at 10 or 11pm that night. It was a long day but totally worth it!

Cole Hudson ------ Cole was born 3lbs 3oz, 16 3/4 inches. Tiny but mighty! He had no issues with breathing however needed an IV line placed due to his small size.

Greyson Bennett ------ Greyson was born 5lbs 1oz and 19 inches long! He was placed on a c-pap machine for a couple hours to help assist with his breathing.
